Breathe In Nature

Go to a spot in nature or where there is at least a bit of nature.

Invite the sounds, the smells, the sights and the sensations to love you.

Breathe and let it all in.

Breathe and let it all be.

Breathe and let it all go.

Feel your shoulders, your belly, your legs, and your roots.

I’ve been sick with a stomach bug the past few days so I haven’t been leaving the house. But this morning I opened the blinds and lay in the sun for several minutes, letting the sun love me, breathing and allowing. During that time I had an idea about something I want to do that requires my partner’s cooperation. Being with the sun, I was able to relax enough and settle enough that I could talk to my partner about this idea without any pushiness or desperation, which have tended to be undercurrents in the past.
