Safety, Support, Stabilization, Practice 23

Practice 23: When we have little, young parts of ourselves who keep throwing us off the track,
they are not trying to knock us down.
When the little one in me feels pain, my fear and avoidance of their pain is what knocks me down.
When I instead move toward the young one and hold the pain with them, acknowledging their difficulty, seeing them in their terror, and just being there with them in kindness,
then both the little one and the now me become more solid, more held and more whole.
