Practice 13: Think of the best qualities embodied by the father or father figures you have had in your life. Then add to them all of the qualities that you would have wanted in a father. Imagine a father who is kind, alive, accepting, encouraging, gentle, courageous, joyful, and fully present for you. Feel or sense that safe and supportive father sitting next to you or standing behind you or walking beside you. Let your body sense this. Breathe. Feel your body and your energy. Let it sink in. Let it be real.
