Safety, Support, Stabilization, Practice 19

Practice 19: Neutral can be a friend.
Many of us feel uneasy when things feel quiet, neutral, empty, dull, or vacant.
I used to think that any time my mind wasn’t spinning, I must be dissociating.
Notice moments of relative calm: less drama, less activity, less emotion.
Neutral can be a friend.
Invite your body to be ok with neutral.
Say “Hello, friend,” and really feel the empty space, while also remembering that you are loved.
