Feel and notice the impulse to freeze, to be completely still because of threat.

Let that go.

Feel and notice an impulse to be still, but restful, safe and relaxed.

Alternate between freeze and rest/relaxed, so your body can learn how to gently shift out of freeze when there is no threat.
