Self-Practice 30: Tune Into Stillness

Sit, stand, lie down or walk.

Breathe. Follow your breath.

Close or soften your eyes.

Notice the sounds.

Feel your body.

Sense the space around your body – above your head, behind your back, buttocks and shoulders, and all around your torso and limbs. Sense the space extending from your body in all directions for 10, 20, or 30 feet.

Look for stillness in that space, as if your own center is generating stillness. Or you are a radio receiver tuned into a cosmic channel of stillness and broadcasting that signal.

Let the stillness support and soothe your body, mind, and energy.
